We believe it’s up to us to start facing forward to the zipcode’s future and celebrating the greatness it already holds. Despite the report that the 76104 zipcode had the lowest life expectancy in Texas, we continue to amplify our efforts to see the Historic Southside, Morningside, and Hillside communities improve.
Most of these inequities are a result of structural and systemic racism, yet our efforts to realize the community’s greatest potential is unwavering. This festival will provide a beacon of hope by advancing healthcare, justice, and bringing joy to a community on the rise.
